Wild, Water & Wheels
Located south of Myrtle Beach in Surfside Beach, Wild Water & Wheels is a summer water attraction that has more than just waterslides. With mini golf, go-karts and kiddie rides, Wild Water & Wheels is perfect for the whole family. Shoot down the Dark Hole water slide or feel the rush as you swoop down on the Triple Dip. For those who aren’t a fan of any of their 24 water slides, this water attractions also features a 950-foot lazy river, bumper boats, lounge pool and surging wave pool. Located just over the border in North Carolina, Calabash Fishing Fleet is only less than a half hour drive from Beach Cove Resort. For serious fishing enthusiasts, they offer an 11-hour trip on their Navigator vessel, a half-day fishing outing, and shark fishing journeys. Catch a variety of fish like black sea bass, cobia, rudderfish, grunts and jacks. For non-fishing fans, Calabash Fishing Fleet offers a guaranteed-sighting dolphin cruise on their 65-foot Navigator boat. One of the most popular and notable attractions at Myrtle Beach’s Broadway at the Beach is WonderWorks. The $6.5 million Myrtle Beach Boardwalk runs parallel to the Myrtle Beach coast. A recent addition to the long list of popular attractions in Myrtle Beach, the Boardwalk has quickly risen to the top. More than a mile long, the Boardwalk stretches from the 2nd Avenue Pier to slightly past Pier 14. With views of the waves crashing ashore, the gondolas of the SkyWheel and the visitors frolicking along the beach, the Myrtle Beach Boardwalk is a popular place to people-watch, go for a stroll, get a family photo, have lunch or just enjoy the views. Family Kingdom Amusement Park is a seasonal Myrtle Beach attraction located about 25 minutes south of Beach Cove Resort. The Splashes Oceanfront Water Park is located on the ocean side of Ocean Boulevard and features a water slide, lazy river and more. The Amusement Park features a variety of rides like the classic Ferris wheel and bumper cars as well as the Swamp Fox Roller Coaster and the new Twist ‘n Shout Coaster. With clothing shops like Coldwater Creek, Chico’s and Coastal Urge and housewares stores like Pottery Barn and Rug Décor, there is nothing lacking in style at The Market Common. Coastal Grand Mall
Located in Myrtle Beach, not far from the airport, sits Coastal Grand Mall. Featuring a range of shops as well as a movie theater and food court, this mall is one you can spend an entire day at.
