Myrtle Beach Holiday Events: Parades Roundup
Christmas is just around the corner and you can be sure that there are plenty of exciting holiday events happening this season, including several colorful holiday parades. Here are just a few of the holiday parades guests can look forward to right near Beach Cove Resort:
Intracoastal Christmas Regatta | November 29th
This annual boat parade takes place on the Saturday following Thanksgiving each year and is a great way to kick off the holiday season. This floating parade is a sight to be seen and will feature more than 30 elaborately adorned participants. The parade kicks off at 5 pm at the Little River Inlet and winds down the Intracoastal Waterway, finally ending at Dock Holidays Marina. Viewing spots are available along the Intracoastal Waterway; just bring a few chairs and blankets and settle in for an evening to remember!
North Myrtle Beach Christmas Parade | December 6th
The annual North Myrtle Beach Christmas Parade will take place on Saturday, December 6th along Main Street. This evening parade kicks off at 5:30 pm, allowing the floats to shine bright with Christmas lights and holiday colors. The parade will include handmade float participants, marching bands, and dancing groups. The best viewing spots are right along Main Street.
Ripley’s Aquarium Holiday Parade | December 6th
If you are seeking a family friendly day-time parade, look no farther than Broadway at the Beach. The Ripley’s Aquarium is holding their annual holiday parade on Saturday, December 6th at 11am. This lively parade will begin at Hard Rock Café and wind around the complex, finally ending at WonderWorks. After the parade, stick around Broadway for an entire day full of Christmas themed family fun.
