This lively event is a fundraiser for the culinary program at Horry Georgetown Tech and is fun for the whole family. More than 50 restaurants from across the Grand Strand come prepared with their best soup in hopes of winning one of the top prizes. Guests wishing to attend just pay $10 admission and are allowed unlimited samples from each vendor. Come out for a fun afternoon full of “souper” selections. Call (846) 626-7444 for more information.

Christmas Show | November 9th – January 3rd | Pirates Voyage

Families or couples looking to kick off Christmas early will surely enjoy the festive sights and sounds at the Pirates Voyage Christmas spectacular. The show begins on November 9th and runs through the New Year, so you will have plenty of opportunities for a swashbuckling good time. The plot loosely follows a “Christmas Carol” theme as the red and green pirates learn the true meaning of Christmas. Live action stunts, colorful costumes, professional choreography, and a decadent multi-course meal fit for a captain are just a few things that guests can look forward to. Call (843) 497-9700 for more information.

33rd Annual Dickens Christmas Festival | November 13th – 16th | Myrtle Beach Convention Center

The Annual Dickens Christmas Festival is one of the largest holiday events along the Grand Strand and you definitely won’t want to miss out! Ideal for families and couples, this bustling event features live authentic Victorian entertainment, strolling musicians, visits with Santa and Mrs. Clause, historical exhibits, and plenty of holiday spirit. Additionally, there will be a 100,000 square foot Victorian market set up in the main exhibit hall featuring hundreds of vendors selling everything from art and jewelry to decorations and specialty food items – and everything in between.
