The SlingShot Thrill Ride is located on Ocean Boulevard in the heart of the Grand Strand. This ride sends participants soaring over 300 feet into the air at over 100 miles per hour! If you enjoy a thrill and some heart-stopping action, come visit the Slingshot at 1201 N.Ocean Blvd where up to two riders at a time lie on their backs and face the sky. Suddenly, they are propelled into the air at a mind-numbing speed, only to plummet back down to Earth and do it all over again! To put that in perspective, at the apex of your launch, you are roughly as high as the SkyWheel! The slingshot also has a videocamera attached to it so you can rewatch that great face you made as you were launched into the air!
