Memories
Since 1984

We have been vacationing annually at the Beach Cove Resort since 1984 when my father first discovered the resort on a business golf outing. Throughout the years it has become a family tradition as well as a fantastic vacation get-away.
The resort alone offers so much for its guests. The pools and pool area are always clean, inviting and comfortable. Being that there are so many pools to choose from, they never get over crowded, even in the peek season. The lazy river is an ideal location to just float around and relax and the children seem to favor it as well. The three outdoor hot tubs are also well maintained and big enough to accommodate numerous guests at one time. To me, there is nothing more relaxing than a late night dip in the hit tub while listening to the waves hit the shore. The resort offers all the guests beach towels so you don’t have to worry about packing the over-sized items.
The hotel breakfast buffet is another accommodation that I think is fantastic. It is above and beyond the “typical” hotel breakfast buffet and includes eggs, pancakes, potatoes, bacon, sausage, cereal, pastries, grits, juices and milk…and more. The wait staff is always so friendly and helpful as well.
The pool side/beach side bar is also another favorite of mine and the bartender there is FANTASTIC. Hotel guests can sit back and relax at the bar, at the pools or at the beach with a drink in hand and listen to the wonderful (LIVE) music. Typically the hotel hires an acoustic singer so it is not too loud, but completely relaxing. In addition to serving wonderful drinks for both adults and children, he is also quite knowledgeable on the many attractions that Myrtle Beach has to offer. He has yet to steer us in the wrong direction!
I started going to the Beach Cove Resort when I was 13 years old and now I the mother of a 15-year-old and a 10-year-old. I am grateful to the resort for giving my children the same wonderful memories of the real meaning of a family vacation that they gave to me when I was a child.
Thank you, Beach Cove, for being such a wonderful part of our lives.
