Memories

My husband and I had never been to Myrtle Beach but had heard great things about it.  Unfortunately, we had not been able to take a vacation for quite a while.  You see, my husband John had been in a very serious car accident and it took several years for him to recover from a broken neck and the near loss of his right leg.

When we decided that he was well enough to travel, I started looking online for a reasonably priced resort.  It had to have amenities to serve my husbands needs, such as an elevator, large enough rooms to get around etc.  Since his accident, our finances were very tight so we couldn't afford anything fancy.

I found the Beach Cove Resort online and immediately fell in love with the tropical outdoor landscaping.  The fact that it had more than one pool, all the rooms were ocean front and it was so close to everything else was a huge plus.

As I investigated the Beach Cove further, I discovered that the price was much more reasonable than most of the other resorts and it seemed to be more attractive and inviting.  So, we booked a room.  We ate at your wonderful restaurant.  I remember trying the Hawiian chicken and trying to make it when I got home.  There was no comparison.  That was back in April of 1999 and we enjoyed our stay so much, we've been back a few more times.

We were hoping to return again in 2010 but as is with many people these day, our finances most likely won't permit it, but when and if we find ourselves able to return to Myrtle Beach again, the Beach Cove is definately where we would be staying.
