Memories

my husband is not a fan of the beach.  going to saudi arabia during the gulf war 20 years ago, the sand and beach was not on the top of his vacation list.  we usually went to my sissters in florida but her husband was diagnosed in the last sstage of cancer.  we knew the difficult days ahead and we wanted to take our 3 children to a nice, relaxing, fun, family filled vacation.  never having been to myrtle beach, we decided to go there having heard so much about it.  i spoke to a representative from beach cove and made a reservation.  on the recommendation of a friend we actually cancelled and decided to stay somewhere else.  when we got down there the other hotel was, well, lets say not for us.  i called back to beach cove and spoke to the same representative. luckily, he got us a room for the week.  the week was wonderful.. the hotel was beautiful! the amenities were fantastic! the location was perfect! it was everything and more we could have hoped for.  that was 2 summers ago and my family still feels that was one of our best vacations.  when trying to decide where to go this summer, it was unanimous.....beach cove!!
