Memories

On June 2 2007 our daughter was scheduled to get married at sunset on the beach. However there was an uninvited guest that showed up earlier that day. A tropical storm arrived that morning and as the day went on weather conditions worsened making it impossible to hold a wedding on the beach. Our daughter was frantic, mom and dad had to come up with an alternate plan. We went over to the beachcove where we have stayed for many summer vacations and weekend get aways. After speaking with the manager and explaining the situation to him, he offered to let us have our daughter's wedding on the second floor in front of the windows. The wedding went on and today when we look back at the wedding pictures with the waves crashing and the darkened skies in the background, we chuckle thinking of the panic we all were in that afternooon, but we remember the kindness and generosity of the manager that saved the day!!
