St. Patrick’s Day Festival
Head to the Myrtle Beach Boardwalk to take part in the annual St. Patrick’s Day festival! Enjoy all of the attractions of newly renovated boardwalk in addition to live seaside entertainment, roaming street performers, and a wide variety of vendors. The adults in the group may also enjoy exclusive access to the beach’s largest Irish Beer Garden. The kids won’t be left out, though, as this festival boasts a large kid’s carnival with rides, games, face painting, and much more. This festival opens at noon and goes until 11pm that evening.
St. Patrick’s Day Parade
The 26th annual St. Patrick’s Day parade is taking place right up the road from Beach Cove Resort in North Myrtle Beach. Gather alone Main Street to take in this lively spectacle featuring a variety of local and regional floats, all decked out in rainbows of green. The parade starts at 9am and is the opening ceremony for the festival that follows. The festival takes place from 11am – 4pm and will feature live entertainment, a wide array of food and craft vendors, and a large children’s play area.
Let the luck of the Irish rub off on you at the 5th Annual Irish Festival. This lively event takes place at Market Common and is fun for the whole family! Enjoy authentic Irish food and drinks, live music, and all things Irish. There will be a children’s area with inflatables, games, rides, face painting, and more! While you are there, take advantage of all of the fun shopping and attractions that can be found in Market Common. The Irish Festival kicks off at 11am and runs until 7pm that evening.
Tilted Kilt 5K
Looking to work off some calories before you indulge in the St. Patrick’s Day festivities? Sign up for the 3rd Annual Tilted Kilt 5K. This festive run takes place at Broadway at The Beach and registration includes a t-shirt, drink ticket for after the race, and admission to a decadent Irish themed breakfast. There will be live Irish themed music and bagpipers. Participants are encouraged to dress to impress and get into the St. Patrick’s Day spirit!
