Guests may help themselves to 1oz, 3oz, or 5oz samples of any of the current offerings. This quaint wine bistro also offers a decadent tapas style menu with selections that are designed to complement the wine options. Tupelo Honey Café, a true southern staple, recently announced that they will be opening up a new location within the scenic Market Common complex in spring 2015. Based out of Ashville, NC, Tupelo Honey offers creative, upscale casual cuisine with a distinctive southern style. Signature staples include their fried green tomatoes, Appalachian egg rolls, southern fried chicken BLT, shrimp and grits, Cajun skillet catfish, and their signature house-made rosemary –peach lemonade – to name a few. They also offer several tasty breakfast items, served all hours of the day. Tupelo Honey is going to occupy the former Tommy Bahama’s building and is scheduled to open sometime next spring.
