Spring Events in Myrtle Beach
St. Patrick’s Day Parade & Festival - March 17th
The St. Patrick’s Day Parade in North Myrtle Beach is extremely popular, and you won’t want to miss out on the action. This rain or shine event also has free admission and free parking! Head to Main Street early to save your spot for this colorful parade. The fun starts promptly at 9am followed by a themed festival from 11am – 4pm. The festival will include over 150 vendors with crafts, food, drinks, and live entertainment.
Taste of the Coast – April 14th
This exciting annual event is entering its ninth year and will be at the House of Blues at Barefoot Landing. Restaurants from across the Grand Strand will set up booths to showcase their culinary delights. This event takes place from 11am – 4pm and also features live entertainment and a kid zone.
Mayfest on Main Festival – May 12th
Kick start your spring with the 13th Annual Mayfest on Main Festival in North Myrtle Beach. This lively event will feature live entertainment throughout the day, an array of local art and craft vendors, children’s games, face painting, and plenty of food and drink vendors. Pack your beach chair and a few blankets and prepare for a day full of fun! The festival begins at 10 am and runs until 6pm along Main Street.
Blue Crab Festival – May 19th and 20th
Seafood lovers and critics alike will appreciate the family friendly fun at this local waterfront festival. Stop by any time between 9am – 6pm on Saturday or Sunday to enjoy over 300 vendors from across the nation in addition to live entertainment, a large children’s play zone, games, food and drink vendors, and – of course – lots and lots of crab! This is one of the largest festivals of the year and you won’t want to miss out.
