Catch a Pelicans Game
What’s more American than baseball? If you are in town for the week, head over to the TicketReturn.Com field and catch a Myrtle Beach Pelicans game! Conveniently located right across from Broadway at the Beach, this home team always puts on a show and knows how to keep the crowd entertained. They will be playing a three game series against Winston-Salem on July 1st-3rd and you won’t want to miss out on the action. You can also enjoy the weekly promotions like $2sDay Brewsday ($2 craft beers from 6-8), Weiner Wednesday ($1 hotdogs all game long), and a colorful post-game fireworks display on Thursday.
Burgers, BBQ, and More!
Satisfy your American cravings at one of North Myrtle Beach’s spectacular bbq and burger joints! Enjoy fall-off-the-bone tender cuts at local barbecue pits like Smokin’ Hot BBQ at Barefoot Landing, Big KT’s BBq Shack, or Damon’s Grill. The best burgers at the beach can be found at favorites like Hamburger Joe’s, River City Café, and Five Guys. Better yet, stay on property and grab a burger at Breeze’s Beach Bar & Café! This seaside eatery located on our scenic pool deck is the perfect way to kick back and relax after a day full of fun in the sun.
Music on Main
Gather friends and family and head to the “horseshoe” section of North Myrtle Beach to enjoy the true sounds of summer! This summer long series features local artists each week to the downtown area and creates a fun, family friendly environment for you to enjoy while on vacation. On Thursday, July 3rd, Deluge will be performing a free, open-sire concert from 7pm – 9pm. This variety group will be playing everything from beach music to pop and everything in between. Come grab dinner downtown then scope out a spot on the beach to take in the tunes.
It wouldn’t be the 4th of July without fireworks and there are plenty of places along the Grand Strand that you can enjoy a spectacular display. In North Myrtle Beach, guests can enjoy a night out on the town and then catch fireworks over the lake at Barefoot Landing or head north to see fireworks over the ocean at the Cherry Grove Pier. The fireworks at Barefoot will begin around 10pm while the show at Cherry Grove begins a little earlier around 9:30pm. There will also be fireworks at Broadway at The Beach, Second Avenue Pier, Surfside Beach, and Veterans Pier in Murrells Inlet.
