The
Beach Cove Resort and The Endless Fun Resorts have kicked off the 2008 golf
season with the most happening party of the season and we want you to join us
for the fun!
Every Thursday at 8 pm during golf season we bring all of our golfers together
for Myrtle Beach's Biggest Weekly Golf Party at the renowned 2001 Nightclub and
we have an absolute blast. All attendees
are treated with the open bar and awesome wings, barbeque and other great food catered
by Myrtle Beach's hottest new restaurant and sports bar, Wild Wing Café (Don't
worry, we won't tell the boss at home about how your diet went while you're on
vacation!).
Once you get
settled in to the party, that's when we start giving away tons of prizes. You'll see us passing out logo shirts, hats,
towels and more great prizes from local golf courses as well as golf balls and
other great golf stuff.
From there we move on to our golf instruction for local course professionals,
such as Gene Weldon from Thistle Golf Club, Mac Hood from Meadowlands and
Farmstead golf courses, Matt Daly from Blackmoor Golf Club and others. These guys are such incredible teachers that
they've even helped some of our golf games!
My favorite part of the parties comes next with the putting and the chipping
contests which are sponsored by the Golf Shoe Centers of America located here
in Myrtle Beach. We randomly draw six
names for each contest and watch some pretty terrible and pretty good putters
and chippers take aim at winning a free resort stay or a brand new pair of
FootJoy golf shoes. These contests get
pretty intense and we have had guys and gals battling in Sudden Death
round
after round to win the prize. Tiger's winning
putt on the 18th hole last week hasn't got anything on the pressure
that these folks face! (Hey, he's Tiger...he's supposed to make those isn't he!?)
After all of that fun and tension, the drama is only starting to mount though
because at every golf party we give away a brand new set of Nike irons at the
end of the party. Even though everyone
has an equal shot at winning the clubs by attending, most of the golfers put
their game faces on and do their best superstitious dance to get their number
called.
At the end of the party there's only one winner of the golf clubs, but everyone
has a great time partying at 2001. For
