A Third Mysterious Sand Sculpture Appears in Myrtle Beach
Myrtle Beach was abuzz again last Monday night after a third sand sculpture appeared that had a striking resemblance to a South Carolina native and host of a popular TV show on Comedy Central, Stephen Colbert.
The sand sculpture was created by the same team that created the wildly popular Mt. Rushmore-like sand sculptures of the Republican and Democratic candidate, Team Sandtastic. While Myrtle Beach proudly showed off the unique sculptures of the presidential candidates, things were kept very hush hush while this third sculpture was made, and it was mysteriously destroyed only an hour after it was built.
The sculpture's identity was let out of the box after a week of impressive silence from those in the know when it appeared on a feature of The Stephen Colbert Show.
