The accolades keep on rolling in for the Golf Capital of the World in what has been a memorable year for Myrtle Beach, SC.



The newly opened Leopard's Chase Golf Club was recently honored by both GOLF Magazine and Golf Digest for being one of the best new courses in the United States. GOLF Magazine named Leopard's Chase to its prestigious Top 10 New Courses You Can Play list, while also being named to Golf Digest's Best New Public Courses Over $75 list.

The Myrtle Beach International Jetport (MYR) flew in its 800,000th passenger earlier this week, making 2007 a record year for air traffic in Myrtle Beach, SC.

With the 2007 addition of local carrier Myrtle Beach Direct Air, adding to the offerings of Myrtle Beach Jetport mainstays Spirit Air and US Airways the future looks promising for flight traffic into Myrtle Beach.

Transforming the dark ride will be The Moody Blues - "Nights in White Satin - The Trip." A mind-bending journey choreographed to a special version of the rock masterpiece "Nights in White Satin." The hit will be masterfully re-orchestrated specifically for Hard Rock Park by Justin Hayward, who originally wrote and composed the song more than 40 years ago.
